Climate

Shanghai has a humid subtropical climate with four distinct seasons. Therefore is it important to be well prepared if you are planning to come to Shanghai.

The winters of Shanghai are cold with the temperature sometimes dropping below zero. In contrast, summers tend to be hot and humid. The temperatures are not extreme. The hottest month is July, with an average high of 32 °C (90 °F). The coldest month is January, with an average low of 1 °C (34 °F).

Transport to the Exhibition Centre, Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), 2345 Longyang Road, Shanghai

Located in the heart of Shanghai Pudong New Area, the SNIEC is easily accessible by urban metro. The SNIEC is about 2-minute walk from the Huamu Road Station of Line 7, and 7-minute walk from the Longyang Road Station of Line 2. Free shuttle buses will run starting from March 26 through March 28. (Longyand Road Metro Station ↔ SNIEC; Frequency: 5-15 minutes)

The exhibition centre is 15 minutes away from Pudong International airport by magnetic train, and 45 minutes away by taxi from Hongqiao Airport.

City Transport
