Q: How do I register and get my badge? A: On-line registration through this website will open six month prior to the show. All pre-registered visitors coming from abroad will be able to print their badge directly from home, the easiest way to proceed! If you do not have access to a printer, come to the show with your business card and go directly to the “Pre-registered” counter to get your badge printed. Attention: if you have not pre-registered, you will be requested to pay ¥200 at the door to access the show!
Q: How do I get a letter of invitation to apply for a visa?
A: Tourist visa are most of the time easier to apply for and most of the time do not require any invitation letter (but it is strongly recommended to check with the Chinese embassy/consulate in your country of origin). If you need a business visa, an invitation letter will be required. Our travel partner can help providing this invitation letter for a moderate cost. Please check information on our website here.
Q: How can I reserve a hotel room at a discounted rate?
A: VNU Exhibitions Asia has contracted, via its official travel agency, guest rooms with several hotels at negotiated rates. For rates and reservations, please access our online booking system.
Q: Is there a shuttle-bus service from my hotel or from the metro station?
A: Complimentary shuttle buses from designated hotels and from/to Longyang Road Metro Station (Frequency 5-15 minutes) will be available during the show dates.
Q:What is the attendee code of conduct?
A: DOMOTEXasia/CHINAFLOOR is a business to business event only, and in order to ensure a business-conducive environment at the show, activities such as unsolicited sales or promotion material distribution by non-exhibiting individuals will not be tolerated. Appropriate attire will also be expected from all visitors.
Q: Will young people be allowed to attend the show?
A: Children, friends and family who accompany you to Shanghai will not be granted access to DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR unless they are over the age of 16 and have proof of industry affiliation. Absolutely no one under the age of 16 is permitted on the show floor. For safety reasons, luggage is also not allowed on the show floor.
