Overwhelming amount of visitors on the opening day of
DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOO R despite the rain

The popularity of the exhibition was proven despite the rain and low temperatures by the numbers waiting to enter.

"It really feels good because the hustle and bustle remained beyond lunch time. I believe that approximately ten thousand visitors were waiting for access when the exhibition opened." said Sherry Bai, journalist of Sportnet.cn, "This result will impress everyone in the halls."

Dave Foster from Talkfloor.com quoted, "it's like people going to a rock concert, instead of a flooring exhibition."

There were many similar praises and comments from many hardcore exhibitors who had never seen so many visitors at DACF in the years that they have been attending. The pre registration numbers for 2010 were up by 100% and for the first few hours of the morning the increased visitor numbers caused some congestion at the registration counters, which dissipated shortly soon after additional pre registrations counters were opened.

The people were still coming in well into the late afternoon despite the cold wind and the total number of visitors certainly looks to be up from last year. There were a sea of people in every entry, of all events and all around the visitor numbers are up.

There were many booths with live entertainment and a hive of activity was evident in all halls.
