China has long been the country that comes to mind when importers hear the term “manufacturing hub”. And China does still hold some major competitive advantages over its smaller manufacturing counterparts. But with growing uncertainty from the U.S. raising tariffs against China, it’s never too early to consider China sourcing alternatives. That being said, even a lot of domestic companies move their production to Southeast Asia to avoid the tariffs and win back the USA clients, who make up 20% of their market. Many up-and-coming players in Southeast Asia are competing for the title of the world’s next manufacturing hub. Among the often considered countries are Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia and Vietnam.

Keeping up with the trend, the 22nd edition of DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR presents Southeast Asian Business Hub – an exclusive area with SPC and wood flooring exhibitors whose production is located in Southeast Asia. The Hub will include Southeast Asian manufacturers and Chinese companies with factories in the region. Located in N2 Hall, the Business Hub will have the best possible location and become a gateway of this edition.
