DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR 2021, will take place 24-26 of March in Shanghai, China, marking the second edition of the popular Asian flooring show that takes part within the COVID-19 period. Despite the industry challenges this past year, the organizers believe in offering flooring professionals a hybrid solution, one that combines the physical show with a comprehensive, no-frills and easy to use digital platform that contains all the right features that are needed when doing business remotely. Major Chinese flooring companies have already secured their space in March, while international exhibitors that cannot make it this year are participating either through Flooring Without Borders – presenting their products onsite while being present online - or within the Global Flooring Connect platform.

Through Global Flooring Connect (GFC), DOMOTEX asia/ CHINAFLOOR ‘s digital networking platform, 341 exhibitors, presenting 786 top products had the chance to connect, network and deal with 1518 registered buyers from all around the globe in 2020. A selected number of onsite exhibitors participated in the international B2B match-making program that was realized via the GFC platform and conducted 64 meetings onsite, discussing live with potential buyers from different parts of the world. From the day the platform was launched up to the last day of the exhibition (2 of September) the platform received 83,000 unique visitors.
For the upcoming edition of DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR 2021, the Global Flooring Connect 2.0 platform is back with updated functions and new features. Apart from Live Streaming, Booth Tour, Factory Tour, Webcasts, Product Webinars, Global Flooring Connect now offers four global meet-ups within its Global Flooring Festival, linking flooring professionals from China and abroad with international brands through video matchmaking sessions. Its first stop was concluded in December 2020 focusing on the Asian-Pacific Region. The second stop that runs from January until the end of February focuses on the European flooring market while the third major stop that runs throughout March is a global one. Finally, for April and May, flooring professionals can focus on the North -American market, and meet industry players from USA and Canada.
Another brand-new feature at Global Flooring Connect is its Online Advertising Agency tools. This is an ideal digital tool for brands that want to promote their products online but lack the necessary know-how. Through this feature, flooring brands can select their own social media promotion program and get more exposure in Chinese platforms like Tencent, WeChat and Toutiao, as well as the international ones like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
