Thank you for participating in DOMOTEX South East Asia. To facilitate your smooth entry into Thailand, please find below the key information regarding visa and entry requirements. We kindly ask you to read it carefully.
I. Visa Exemption Policy
Visa exemption policies vary by country/region. Citizens of the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and all EU countries enjoy visa-free entry for up to 60 days. For other nationalities, please check with your local Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate before traveling.
II. Important Entry Reminders (New Requirements as of 2026)
Recent measures by the competent authorities of Thailand have seen heightened entry scrutiny. The Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Thailand has issued the following special reminders:
1. Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) – Mandatory for All Non-Thai Nationals: Effective from 13 February 2026, all non-Thai nationals are required to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online before arrival.
- Suggestion: Please complete it within 3 days prior to your arrival at the official platform: tdac.immigration.go.th. Save the QR code screenshot or print a hard copy for immigration clearance.
2. Accurate Declaration of Entry Purpose: You are required to declare your purpose of entry in accordance with the actual nature of your visit. Please refrain from engaging in activities inconsistent with the scope permitted under the visa exemption policy.
3. Documents for Inspection (Recommended): It is advisable to have the following documents ready for inspection upon entry:
- Round-trip flight ticket confirmation
- Hotel booking confirmation
- Exhibition invitation letter or exhibitor badge
- Proposed itinerary while in Thailand
4. Important Reminders
- Repeated use of visa exemption for prolonged stays without justifiable cause may result in denial of entry.
- "Visa runs" (exiting and immediately re-entering via a third country) are considered a violation and may lead to denial of entry.
III. For Extended Stays or Long-Term Business Activities
If you plan to stay in Thailand for more than the permitted period or engage in long-term business activities, please apply for the appropriate visa (e.g., Non-Immigrant B Business Visa) from a Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate before traveling.
IV. General Reminders
1. The information above is for reference purposes only. For the most current visa policies, please refer to the latest announcements from the Immigration Bureau of Thailand and the Royal Thai Embassy in your country.
2. It is strongly recommended that you visit the official website of the Royal Thai Embassy in your country or contact a visa application centre to confirm the latest entry requirements before travelling.
3. You are advised to purchase travel insurance that includes overseas medical coverage in case of emergencies.
